This was my very first sunrise photoshoot and it went so well! To those who don’t know, sunset shoots are way easier to photograph because as time passes, the sun gets less intense and allows more freedom to take pictures anywhere. On the other hand, sunrise shoots the sun only gets more intense and harsher to photograph with. During both shoots, I always race the sun before it goes away completely or gets too high in the sky.
Since the football stadium doesn’t have any shade, I decided to start Itzel’s senior session there before the sun got too intense. Thanks to some clouds, we were able to get some pictures that Itzel wanted in front of the scoreboard without the pictures being too overexposed. We felt so blessed that God allowed us to have enough shade time to capture some quick pictures. After the stadium, we took some of my favorite images at the courthouse and then ended her photoshoot at the high school for more traditional portraits.
Itzel, thank you so much for trusting me to capture these special moments for you! I had a great time working with you and I wish you the best in this new journey you’re about to begin!
